The Emerald Island proposal attempts to create a pleasant environment for tourists to traverse under the unfavorable location conditions of the project. Disadvantages are transformed through clever design. An "artificial rockery" is built by using the building volume to echo the "emerald island", an "artificial village" is embedded on the hillside, and the "artificial canyon" in the middle is injected into the "artificial lake" to create a theme park with an introverted landscape. , this introverted and autonomous enclosure system is isolated from the surrounding harsh environment under the protection of the building volume, ensuring the complete controllability of its environmental quality.

The façade of the Emerald Island is very different from its interior. The artificial rockery and the spectacle of the village are accommodated inside. The façade shows the standard expression of a neutral urban office building, which makes visitors from outside to inside. The dramatic drop of the space experience is stronger, which further intensifies the sense of exclamation, wonder and dreaminess of the interior scene.
